and Cross Country Camps
ISU Winter Indoor Track Camp

December 29th through 30th—For Boys and Girls-Grades 7-12

Run on the ‘Largest Indoor Track in the World,’ camp in the same facility, and spend two days learning the keys to a successful track season.

The Camp is Open to:

  •     All Sprinters and/or Hurdlers
  •     All High Jumpers and/or Long Jumpers
  •     All Middle Distance/Distance Runners
  •     Coaches who want to observe and learn
Your Camp Fee of $90 ($50 for coaches) Includes:

  • Workout Sessions on the Lied Indoor 300 Meter Track (campers only)
  • Limited Edition Winter Camp Long Sleeve Performance T-Shirt (campers & coaches)
  • Three complimentary admissions to the December 30th ISU Women’s Basketball game against Fairfield (campers only)
  • Meals for your stay—Dinner on the 29th and Breakfast and Lunch on the 30th (campers & coaches)
  • A night of camping, fun and games in the Lied Recreation Center (campers only)
  • COACHES: Observation of training techniques and principles

Check In/Check Out
Check in will be held from 1:00 to 1:30 PM on December 29th  in the lobby of the Lied Recreation Center (Beach St, Ames, IA) on the ISU campus in Ames.  The camp will end on December 30th at 3:00 PM’.

What to Bring

Sleeping Bag and Tent (coaches must have separate tent facilities from their student-athletes), Running clothes (2 x daily workouts), running shoes, and a sportswatch. A completed and signed release form must be on file to participate. This form accompanies the registration and can be turned in when registration fees are mailed in or received during check-in. No exceptions will be made.

Meals

All meals will be provided (Dinner on the 29th, Breakfast and Lunch on the 30th).

Cancellations and Refunds
After December 14th, camp fees are nonrefundable.  Should a camper leave camp due to injury or illness, the camp fee is nonrefundable.

Health and Insurance

The parent/guardian's personal or injury insurance policy will be utilized as the primary insurance for the treatment of injuries and hospitalization of illness or   injuries incurred during the sports camps.
